A hero Black Lives Matter supporter has lifted the lid on the incredible moment he carried a ‘far-right’ protester, whose ‘life was in danger’, to safety in the midst of clashes with anti-racism protesters in London. In a now iconic photograph which has spread across the world (pictured right), Patrick Hutchinson was seen lifting the protester to safety amid violent clashes between Black Lives Matters protesters and far-right counter-protesters near to London’s Trafalgar Square. The personal trainer told Channel 4 News tonight (pictured left) ‘If the other three police officers that were standing around when George Floyd was murdered had thought about intervening, and stopping their colleague from doing what he was doing, like what we did, George Floyd would be alive today still.’
